National Express Maintenance Technician II in Acheson, Alberta

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician II (Apprentice) for our Customer Service Centre (CSC) in Edmonton .

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Works under the direct supervision of a Licensed Technician in maintaining buses to receive hands-on training and experience to prepare for completion of a Red Seal Bus & Coach Technician License

  • Work closely to arrange for and obtain appropriate approval for all repairs before vehicle is released from the maintenance facility

  • Perform assigned vehicle and facility maintenance related duties and exhibit ability to learn to perform the tasks of the trade in a safe, timely and efficient manner

  • Maintain a safe, clean, productive and efficient work area including ensuring work area is in compliance with all relative Provincial and local guidelines and requirements

Qualifications

  • Must work as a strong team player in a fast paced environment

  • Minimum of 2 years Automotive Industry experience

  • Current participation in an Apprenticeship Program

  • Must possess minimal required tolls for position

  • Possess Valid Licenses required for this position

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Ability to follow direction and adhere to policies and procedures

  • Must have excellent communication skills
