We are currently seeking a Benefits Coordinator to work from our corporate headquarters in Lisle, IL .

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Pay and track all benefits invoices and process funding requests for retirement plans and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

  • Prepare and review monthly invoice reconciliations to ensure accuracy

  • Partner with accounting and finance to ensure accuracy in accruals and budgeting

  • Administer company sponsored retirement plans, including processing 401(k) distribution requests, deduction changes, hardship monitoring and assist with annual audits and 5500 filings

  • Provide tier one customer service support to internal and external customers via inbound calls and emails

  • Assist with filing employee benefit paperwork and create employee folders

  • Assist with Benefits enrollment data entry and other projects as needed

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School graduate or equivalent

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred

  • 1 to 3 years of business accounting experience

  • 1 to 3 years of experience performing data entry into HRIS systems preferred

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a Benefit related role, preferably with both US and Canadian Benefits

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Power Point); experience using Oracle preferred

  • Knowledge of basic office equipment

  • Experience providing support to internal and external customers

  • Knowledge of federal and state benefit plan regulations such as COBRA, FMLA, ERIS, and HIPPA

  • Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions

  • Ability to make routine decisions in accordance with departmental policies and procedures

  • High level of confidentiality, accuracy, and customer service

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of customers, both internal and external

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
