The Sabino Canyon Crawler Concierge will be the local face of the Crawler service. Concierge will greet the visitors, direct them to the visitors’ center or the kiosks for credit card/debit card payment, assist the visitors as needed, validate the tickets, and help the driver load the vehicles with the passengers. At the conclusion of the tour, the concierge will thank the customers, collect the earbuds, help the driver clean the vehicle, and prepare for the next tour. The first and last shifts will assist in setting up and taking down stanchions, A frame signage, opening and closing the ticket booth, and other beginning and end of day tasks as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Be knowledgeable of Sabino Canyon and other nearby tourist destinations
Be friendly and engaging to visitors
Be proficient in operating the computers and kiosks (training will be provided)
Assist visitors board and debark the vehicles
Assist ADA visitors boarding and disembarking the vehicles
Assist the drivers as needed
High School graduate or equivalent
Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook; and knowledge of basic office equipment
Demonstrated ten-key and data entry skills; with ability to maintain accuracy and speed
Basic clerical and math skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
Computer literacy, preferably in word processing and spreadsheets,
Excellent oral communication skills to respond and present professionally to callers and visitors.
Prioritization, organization, coordination and time management skills to develop and maintain manual and computerized filing systems, coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines and apply protocols to coordinate flow of materials and correspondence in the Department.
Demonstrated ability to effectively and diplomatically handle a wide range of demanding inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources.
Be able to stand on your feet for a considerable length of time. While performing the duties of this job, the concierge is regularly required to walk, stand, and/or move around. They will be required to use their hands and arms to collect and validate tickets and assist in loading visitors on the vehicles.
